Post |P.C.C| clan is banned from my server
Between the cheaters and hackers and disruptive constant kick votes and spamming...
And sorry if it seems racist but I can't get an explanation from them
regarding their behavior because I don't speak Portuguese. I've had enough of these clowns...
I've seen more than enough to make the decision to ban the clan.
I'm posting this here so there is no misunderstanding on where I stand with the P.C.C clan.

never even heard of them, but i think that if you need to ban them that it should probably be done (you aren't a very harsh person ban wise)

Thanks Inline.... I've gotten suggestions from others in our clan that

Bumbed into 3 of those yesterday and got annoyed within a couple of minutes. They behave like 9 year olds jerks, not even trying to make themselves understandable to others 'no english'... 'no english'... and fu**ed up the whole game with pointelss votes and whatnot.

I guess they'll find themselves banned on several servers the sooner or later.

Code:
// -LF    // Sets the logging level for file logs (0..5), default 2 (Win & Mac) or 5 (Linux)

So:

Code:
-LF2

Should work if you're running the server from a Windows machine. Lemme know if that works out for you - the logs should be saved wherever you have AssaultCube installed (something like C:\Program Files\AssaultCube_v1.0\serverlog_904397423094205704blahblah.txt) - A new log file will be created everytime the server is started. So if you don't want to read/search through tens of thousands of lines of server logs I suggest re-launching your server on a regular basis so that the log is "rotated" and a fresh one is created.

Also if you add a:

Code:
-T

Switch it will timestamp each line of your server logs, which will bloat them a bit but it's quite important when sync'ing up events in demos with events in server logs.

I'd recommend keeping all of your server logs indefinately - so if you ever need to go and look back at for something, it's all right there for you/someone to search through, if space/clutter is an issue with you, you can always compress (.7z/.zip/.rar) the server logs, which can potentially bring hundreds of MBs of text down to just a few MBs of a compressed archive.

Hope this helps! :)

As usual my server console states that it started a log with todays date on it.
But I cannot find the file anywhere... and it's driving me crazy !!!!

I "think" you won't be able to find it until you stop the server. That is when the file will actually be written. But don't quote me on that one.

Try restarting the server, then searching for a log, hopefully you will find something. :)

WinRAR shrank 23 MB of my client logs down to 2.2 MB, so it's worth doing if you hate the waste of space. If you don't like the idea of archived files, ie you want to be able to open them without faffing about, you can use Windows' built-in compression (if you're using NTFS which you almost certainly do) - right click on the folder that contains log files, properties > general tab, advanced - check the 'compress contents...' option, then when you click apply, deselect 'apply to subfolders' and that's it.
