I am writing a set of rules for our public irc channel to hopefully maintain a level of control there in the future. Any or all violations of these rules may result in being kicked or banned for some time so please be respectful of the rules this will lay out and everything will be fine.

1. Don't be a spammer, no need to repeat yourself, we all know how to scroll (this could mean caps if that is all you use as well)
2. No multiply connections unless for a good cause, i.e testing another irc client, commands, or of course the bug of multiply clients due to crashing
3. DO NOT BE DEMEANING TO ANOTHER RACE/GENDER/SEXUALITY (this will result in a ban for sure)
4. Respect the operators
5. If you must advertise your website or anything related to the matter, please ask if it is ok to do so first
6. No bots, Ask first before connecting them to the channel. (BR is a bot)
7. Do not flame with someone else while there, take it to a different channel
8. Do not post links to harmful websites (or anything similar, i.e sites demeaning a certain race/gender)
9. Do not ask for op, you will not get it.
10. Try to be civil, everyone can make jokes sometimes but not make jokes all the time, another words, there is time for fun, and time for serious talk
11. Do not try to avoid bans, I will ban your mask if I notice you are ban avoiding
12. Noone cares about your trash talking, take it else where
13. Watch what you say about an op of another channel
14. Try to speak as good of english as you can, I understand not everyone speaks english as their first language, but atleast try to keep in "understandable"
15. If you are asked to take your talk else where, it is not meant to be an attack towards you, just it is best somewhere else
16. If you need help, ask an op if you can message them, and do so in a private manner
17. Ops who ban/kick someone with no reason may have their op rights revoked (unless all in good, innocent, clean fun [may be asked to provide some type of proof])
18. Do not be offensive
19. Obey by the rules set out by the gamesurge staff as well as our rules
20. Keep these rules in mind, do not break them over and over again just because you got by once, and enjoy your stay
